The problem
A crash-state reset cannot replace damaged battery hardware.
Some vehicles isolate the battery or store a crash state after a collision. Pyrotechnic disconnects, cables, battery modules, sensors, and wiring may require replacement before supported electronic reset or registration can be considered.
- Vehicle retains a supported battery crash state after repair
- Pyrotechnic disconnect was replaced but faults remain
- Battery management module status needs assessment
- Post-collision no-start or charging concern requires diagnosis
