The problem
Truck downtime grows when the replacement controller is wrong.
Truck transmission controllers can carry application-specific software, configuration, identity, and communication data. A mismatched donor may introduce faults or prevent the replacement from operating correctly even when the housing and connectors appear similar.
- Work truck is down with a controller fault
- Donor TCU communicates but is incorrectly configured
- Original controller is intermittent or physically damaged
- Fleet repair is stalled by uncertain part compatibility
