Stage 1 tuning is generally designed for a mechanically standard or lightly modified vehicle. The calibration strategy may refine torque delivery, throttle response, and supported engine-control targets within the limits of the platform.

Stage 2 tuning is intended for vehicles with compatible hardware changes. The required parts, fuel, maintenance condition, and supporting systems vary by engine and ECU family, so a Stage 2 label should never replace a platform-specific review.
