The problem
Changing a limiter does not make a vehicle track-ready.
Factory speed limiters may reflect tire ratings, drivetrain protection, cooling, vehicle configuration, or regulatory decisions. Raising or removing a limiter can expose limitations that are not visible during normal road operation.
- Closed-course vehicle reaches a factory software limit
- Current limiter source or controller is uncertain
- Tire, brake, or cooling capability has not been documented
- Vehicle has faults or modifications requiring review
